Catherine McDonald, BAppSC (Osteo), BSc. (Osteo)


Catherine McDonald, BAppSC (Osteo), BSc. (Osteo), graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology’s five year program with a double degree in Osteopathic and Clinical Sciences. She completed her first fundamentals cranial course that same year. Since that time she has completed a graduate certificate at Victoria University in Neonatal and Infant Paediatrics and numerous post graduate courses, run by the SCTF of ANZ, Australian Research College of Osteopathic Medicine (ARCOM) and Biodynamics.

 

Ms. McDonald began her working career in a pediatric based practice in Katoomba. After 7 years of being mentored by experienced practitioners in country NSW, she moved to Sydney where she ran 2 successful practices in Glebe and Roseville. During this time she sat on the Ethics, and then the Continuous Professional Development committees for the Australian Osteopathic Association.

 

She moved to the Canberra Osteopathic Center and began working in Maxwell Fraval’s practice in 2011, and continued under his mentorship for a decade. She is currently in private practice.  


Ms. McDonald is the Vice-President of the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Academy (SCTF) of Australia and New Zealand. She  has lectured with ARCOM and has taught throughout Australia, and in the United States.
