This text attempts to provide guidance for the use of manipulative techniques in children. It focuses on common pediatric conditions affecting the neuromusculoskeletal system, but other conditions are discussed as well. The book is organized by body region rather than pathophysiological process. Each chapter consists of discussions of common clinical conditions, their presentation (Clinical Notes) and treatment (Treatment Notes), including descriptions of specific manipulative techniquest that may be useful in management. Appropriate techniques are presented and adapted for different age groups: newborn, infant, toddler, child and athlete (the models resented being called adolescents).
